Bee/Wasp Sting
1. Place a damp tea bag over the sting
2. Use a card (credit card or ID) to scrape the skin to remove the stinger
3. To remove the venom, mix meat tenderizer with water to make a paste then apply to the infected area
4. Mix some baking soda and water to make a paste; then rub the paste on the infected area.
5. Cover with a bandage immediately.
6. To relieve pain and swelling, apply some Heinz White Vinegar on a cotton ball or a piece of cloth
7. Then apply to the area
Burn
1. First degree burns
a. Soak in cool water for about 5 minutes
b. Apply first-aid ointment to the burn
c. Loosely apply a bandage on the affected area
d. Get an over-the-counter pain killer such as Tylenol or Advil
2. Second Degree Burns
a. Soak the burn in cool water for about 15 minutes
b. Place a cool, clean, wet cloth on the burn for a few minutes every day
c. Immediately apply ointment to the burn
d. Cover the burn with a dry, nonstick dressing
e. Change the dressings every day; but wash your hands with soap and water first
f. While the skin heals, it will itch! So do not scratch it and cut your fingernails short.
3. Third Degree Burns
a. Elevate the area
b. GO TO THE HOSPITAL RIGHT AWAY
c. DO NOT apply any ointment or water to the burn!!!
d. DO NOT take off any clothing stuck to the burn!!!
e. Cover the burn with a cool, wet sterile bandage until you can get medical assistance
